Hey ladies, welcome back! We hope you all had a great summer. It has been a busy one and it’s only going to get busier! :) For this month’s post, we wanted to jump right in and chat about trunk shows because we get asked about these often. Aside from our online boutique, we participate in local vendor shows, pop-up at local wineries and trunk shows. A lot of our customers aren't familiar with trunk shows, so let us enlighten you.

What is a trunk show? Why should I host one?

A trunk show is a party at your home or location of choice. We bring our boutique clothing and accessories; you invite guests over to shop and earn a percentage of our sales back in KB&Co. spending cash. Hosting a trunk show is easy and a great way to get family and friends together to mingle and shop our latest trends.

Interested in hosting a trunk show? Here's what you need to know:

  • The party host will work with KB&Co. to pick a date and a three to four-hour time frame for the party. The host will need to be available for two hours of set up time and one hour of tear down.

  • The host creates a Facebook event and invites their guests to the party at least 4 weeks in advance. This will give your guests enough time to plan. It also allows enough time for us to shop for any specific style request.

    • It’s important for the host to be interactive and post in the event page, so guests don't forget about the event. We also post in the event page and give a sneak peak of the new arrivals for the party.

  • We arrive at least two hours in advance, to ensure we have enough time to setup. We will need to setup in a spot that fits at least five clothing racks. All the host needs to do is setup snacks and/or refreshments for their guests and we will do the rest.

  • During the party, we’ll be available to answer any questions you or your guests might have. The clothing may be tried on, and everything is available to take home that day.

  • During trunk shows, we do a drawing for a small giveaway. You can enter to win by placing an order in-person with us, the day of the party.

  • All in-person orders receive 10% off the entire order. We accept cash, card, or local check.

  • After the party, it takes us about one hour for tear down. We help clean up and move any furniture, if needed.
